Yankee Homecoming has always been proud to honor the US Coast Guard and the many men and women that serve our city of Newburyport. The very first Yankee Homecoming was scheduled to include the birthdate of the Coast Guard and each year the citizens and visitors of Newburyport are invited into the Merrimack Station for a special tour during our Coast Guard Day celebration.
