Yankee Homecoming (YHC) is once again requesting nominations from the greater Newburyport community for the 2024 Volunteer of the Year awards Each year, YHC, recognizes the volunteer efforts of our citizenry: our teens, young adults, and adults who have made a difference in the lives of the residents of Newburyport and surrounding towns, by unselfishly giving of themselves, donating their time, efforts, and energy.
We all realize that it is the volunteers of the many area non-profit agencies, civic organizations and government entities that enable us to provide vital services to our
citizens. These volunteers continue to step up to address critical issues facing the greater Newburyport community and to find solutions to these issues. They have done this by volunteering their time and efforts with local community organizations, government entities, and non-profit groups.
The 2024 YHC, theme is “A Family Tradition”. This theme reflects the efforts our greater Newburyport “Family” have made in our cities and towns, this past year, to improve the quality of all our lives. Individuals or organizations can submit a nomination by completing the on-line application below. The deadline for submitting nominations is 07/01/2024. There are no age restrictions for submitted nominations, this includes teens and young adults.
Individuals selected to receive the 2024 Generations of Giving Awards will be recognized at an Awards Ceremony at the Newburyport Council on Aging/Community Center on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, sponsored by Atria Senior Living. If you have questions please contact Paul Bushey at [email protected]
