SUMMARY:Parade
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for everyone who had participated in and viewed our parade in past years. \nGet your lawn chairs ready!  Once again our parade will be rolling down High Street as we bring our 2025 Yankee Homecoming Festival to an end. We can’t wait to see you all lined up on High Street! Don’t forget to cheer for our hard working volunteers who bring up the end of our parade.  These volunteers are just a small handful who help put on our full 9 day festival. \nThe parade is the last official event of Yankee Homecoming each year.  It begins at the intersection of Moseley Avenue and Ferry Road and follows historic High Street in Newburyport\, ending State Street.  Fire engines from the area will lead off the parade followed by the YHC General Chairman\, Volunteers of the Year\, bands\, floats\, performers and more!  Once again we will be collecting money for the Jimmy Fund.  Our parade (originally known as the Jimmy Day Parade) was the first fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund.  Please help keep this tradition alive by donating during the parade when you see Yankee Homecoming Volunteers in their Yankee Homecoming tshirts coming by with their familiar buckets. \nWe are always looking for antique cars to participate in our parade.  If you would like to show off your antique car/truck please complete the form below or email parade@yankeehomecoming.com \nFLOATS WANTED!\nThis is a great way to promote your business/organization.
