With this year's Yankee Homecoming, we're asking YOU to elect our first official Yankee Homecoming Town Crier! And with every vote you cast, you get another chance to win something for yourself!
Being the official Yankee Homecoming Town Crier comes with some special privileges and responsibilities:
- The Town Crier can select his/her own mode of transportation. The Crier can ride in a limousine, a convertible, a Pedi cab horse and buggy or can walk down High street on August, 1st 2010
- The Town Crier may select any band marching in the parade to accompany him/her
- The Town Crier and family/friends will be escorted to the reviewing stand to watch the parade.
- The Town Crier will be the official judge of the parade floats.
- The Town Crier will have his/her picture in the newspaper
- The Town Crier will be given a commemorative bell for this historic occasion.
So as you can see, with so many privileges and responsibilities of the Town Crier, this vote is crucial!

Review the list of candiates below and either contact your favorite candidate or keep an eye about town and on this page (at right) for times and locations when the candidates will be "campaigning". At these campaign events, you will have the chance to vote for your favorite candidate for $1 per vote. Whichever candidate raises the most votes will be our first ever Yankee Homecoming Town Crier. What's more, with each vote you cast, you will receive another entry into our drawing for prizes including a flat screen TV, DVD player and $100 cash! And best of all, all monies raised will be used to support the Yankee Homecoming Parade!
