Join us each morning for a fun filled exercise class that will be sure to get you moving for the day.  Classes will be held on the Waterfront Stage.

Sunday July 29th –Riverside Yoga 8:00 – 9:00 am
Join Riverside Yoga’s Sarah Oleson for a flowing, meditative and fun all levels yoga class! In this class we will focus on dynamic movement to build strength and flexibility, and work on linking breath with movement to quiet the mind. Appropriate for all levels of yogis from beginner to advanced. Bring your yoga mat!

Monday July 31st – Fuel boot camp from 9:15 – 10:15 am
Do you want to take a boot camp class that will give you a strong, sleek, toned body and not make your thighs huge or your arms bulge? Based on the Best of Newburyport winner for personal training, the fuel method of training promotes fat burning and body slimming for an ultimate workout. Your favorite exercises are paired with fun intervals of cardio, strength and core work. Interval training and other state of the art training methods are used to boost your metabolism throughout the day, supercharge your fitness, and burn off the extra fat. This class will help you reach your fitness goals. Fuel trainers demonstrate modifications and progressions for each exercise which offers a much more personalized and effective workout. We will challenge each level of fitness safely and effectively from rookie to veteran exerciser.  ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS WELCOME!

Tuesday  – July 31st – Motivate Barre Cardio Cycle 8:00 – 9:00 am
With the energy and sweat level of our Core + Cardio class and the mindfulness of our barre classes, Motivate CircuitSculpt utilizes functional movements with resistance. It’s fast-paced,without losing sight of our body alignment principles.  Exercises are done in rapid succession with a break between circuits. Circuits can sometimes be timed, sometimes be driven in a flow fashion while utilizing the tempo of a song. We like to keep you guessing!  Be prepared to squat it like it’s hot.  Wear sneakers and bring water, a towel, and a mat.

Tuesday – July 31st – YWCA Newburyport 9:15 – 10:15
Barre/Yoga is a fun, full body workout incorporating traditional Barre with a strong focus on small, precise movements that lengthen the body and create a strong, leaner body and traditional Hatha Yoga. Class will include standing exercises along with work on the mat. Please bring a towel and or mat.

Wednesday August 1st – Newburyport Yoga 8:00 – 9:00 am
All-levels Yoga class – A well-rounded class that will balance strength with flexibility, refine your understanding of alignment and begin to build endurance.

Wednesday August 1st- Guy Chase Academy of Newburyport from 9:15 – 10:15 am
Muay Thai is known as the art of eight limbs, and as such it makes use of the hands, feet, knees and elbows for powerful striking. Sometimes called Thai kickboxing, the sport is particularly well known for building total body strength, improving flexibility as well as exponentially increasing endurance levels. Come join the Guy Chase Academy or a challenging and fun martial arts workout. Bring a friend, partner training will be encouraged.

Thursday August 3rd Natural High Fitness Club 6:30 – 7:30am
Let the Natural High Fitness Club Training Team wake you up with a high energy workout using a combination of kettle bells, resistance tubes, medicine balls and your own body! Thursday, August 3 at 6:30 am on the Waterfront. Kim Martilla, Tracy Pompey, and Nancy McCarthy are looking forward to having workout fun with you!

Thursday August 3rd Latitude Sports Club  – Pound Class  –  Jillian Lewis presents Pound,  a rockin’ good time,  from 8:00 – 9:00 am using special light weight drumsticks (ripstix), you get a full body workout combining cardio, conditioning and strength training all while being inspired by the infectious, energizing music.  Ripstix are provided just bring your towel, water and high energy, we’ll give you permission to rock out !

Friday August 4th -Latitude Sports Club – Boot Camp –  Join Sgt. Dennis Palazzo from 8:00-9:00 am for “The most realistic military style training there is for civilians” – a combination of strength and HITT training in a military format set to rock and roll music using Tabata, Fartlek and Progression / Regression protocols.  “We’ll act like soldiers and honor the 70,000+ brave men and women who are fighting for our freedom everyday”  HooRah !

Friday August 3rd Buti Yoga 9:15-10:15am

Join The Cure Studios founder Sami for Buti yoga: a soulful blend of power yoga, tribal dance, conditioning and deep abdominal toning. This workout tones the body while facilitating deep inner transformation. All levels of experience encouraged to join! 

Saturday Aug 4th – Crossfit Full Potential 8:00 – 9:00 am
Are you bored with your workouts?  Want to feel like an athlete again?  Join the coaches from CrossFit Full Potential for a fun and challenging workout on the waterfront!  Come 10-15 minutes early and be ready to play hard!
